Myself and my classmates were split into two groups. Once split, both groups were given 3 hot spot visits each. This was one that we visited called "Isolated Heroes". We met a woman called Samantha Mcewan who showed us her work. Its amazing. Just after graduating from Heriot-Watt university she now has her own warehouse and sells her work through ASOS market. This visit really inspired me. It just goes to show that you can achieve what you want after university. Here is some photographs from the visit. Chloe X

"Alice Dress" ♥

My classmates and I had a meeting with a woman called Alice, who is in a band called the Hazey Jane's. We all asked her lots of questions to find out what type of clothing she likes and what she is looking for in a dress. Each of us had to do some designs for her. I designed 7 different dresses and this is the one she liked the most. I am currently in the process of making this dress for her.  Chloe X

This was just an old cheap shirt from Primark which was just laying about in my cupboard, so I decided to add some sequence to the collar and pockets, all you need is some sequence, an old shirt, a needle and some thread. Very simple!  Chloe X

A message from Australia..

My younger cousin who has recently moved to Australia designed this vintage coat. i LOVE it.

Third post of the day! But I just had to upload this.. lovelovelove these heels, a birthday present from a friend. They are like the sorest ever to walk in, but who cares about the pain when they look good?!  I matched up these heels with a nice pair of lace leggings. Chloe X
This is a buckrum based hat which I made in a millinery class at college with Alex Muir. I always thought making hats would be simple, I've definitely been proved wrong..

out with the old and in with the new.. ♥

This was something I created back at Graham street, when I was studying NC art & design. I had to take something old and make it into something new. I took an old corset and tutu and customised it to fit in with my theme of Moulin Rouge.         Chloe X

First post ever!

Hey everyone! This is my first post basically just to let you know of what i will be posting about. I will be uploading photographs of my own work, things i have designed, things i have made,  and also writing little pieces underneath.  I will also be uploading photographs of the hot spot visits that me and my class have visited. Along the way i may upload some random photographs or thoughts i have, or maybe even photographs of what I'm wearing or some street style fashion.  Hope you enjoy.. Chloe X
